Derek Ottens joined STL Architects in 1998. Mr. Ottens brings to STL a significant amount of experience in project management, construction administration, and material sourcing. His current responsibilities at STL include business development, contractual negotiations, and office operations. Mr. Ottens has been instrumental in maintaining various firm certifications through the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois as well as obtaining and developing contracts to review building permits for the City of Chicago, Department of Construction and Permits, as part of their developer services program.
